Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, clear, medium-sized lacy off-white head, sweet dark-malty nose with dried fruits, nuts and toasted malt underneath; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering caramelly-sweet and also bitter finish. Well drinkable, not too exciting Doppelbock...

Bottle, 7.2%. Malty aroma, slightly vinous. Clear very dark brown colour. Red shine. Very small tan head. The flavour is nicely malty with a little cream. Quite sweet, but balanced nicely by the alcohol.
