Keg at BD Soho, 03/01/20. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, dried fruits, light roast, hint of liquorice. Taste comprises roast malts, trace of coffee bean, chocolate cake mix, light black peppery spice, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent.

Keg @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small off-white head. Certainly crisp tasting, with slightly milky but stated enough roasted malts as oppose to any real coconut flavour.

Keg at Cloisters. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of chocolate, Bovril and roasted coconut. Flavour of blueberry, coconut and wood. Medium body with a creamy texture. Light fizz. A cracking beer - full flavoured and exactly what I look for in this style.
