Cask at the strugglers inn. Lincoln. Deep amber colour with a tan head. Spicy ginger aroma and taste cakey and light sweet. Really is like a ginger cake.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Dark brown. Pretty murky. Thin, beige head. Nose has all of the ingredients, which together make for a decent take on a Yorkshire Parkin. Taste is light sweet, with a little burnt toffee bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, albeit a tad thin. The ginger comes through on the finish, getting a little spicy, and a little dry.
