660ml bottle between five at the Burning Soul Brewery tasting session, 28th May 2017: thanks Rich for this offering. Smooth tanned blanket sat on a dark brown body, looked good. Lots going on here, in both the nose and taste: whiskey, wood, red berries and a malted loaf all featured somewhere in the aroma or flavours. Interesting and very pleasant.

Bottle @ Burning Soul tasting, thanks to Richy for this. Pours a deep dark brown, good tan head. Aroma bears woody, whisky-tinged dried dark fruits. Taste is smooth, relatively rich with chocolate, dark fruits, and a good whisky influence. Nice.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - cola and whisky. Wood and fudge. Brown bread with wood and whisky. Medicinal woody notes. Taste - more medicinal notes and wood. Brown bread. Vanilla finish. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy sweet middle section. The finish is sweet and rich. Overall - a bit woody and medicinal but good. Veda is great though.
