Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Tart lactic aroma, and underneath that you can actually detect the slightly roasty remains of what was once a Brown Ale. Ligt-bodied, again a slight roastiness, extremely sour again from what seems like both Bretty and lactic sources. A very challenging beer with the sourness really tuned up. 201117

Keg at Six Deg North, Aberdeen. It pours hazy mahogany - brown with a tiny white head. The aroma is funky, tangy, sour grape, plum, redcurrant, acidic nostril burn and jam. The taste is tart and acidic upfront, loads of red wine vinegar, throat burn, earth, redcurrant, grape skin, lemon juice, rawness, sour candy and wood with a drying and acidic finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. I like aspects of this beer, but there is no denying that there is a certain harshness and acidity to it. OK is small doses perhaps.
