Can, by way of a trade. Really hazy, milky gold. Bubbly white head, that recedes to some stickiness down the glass. Nose has yeasty, bready malts. Lime and lemongrass. Bit of a Belgian vibe, almost. Some melon and passion fruit. Taste is tangy, tart citrus bitter. Cleansing and sharp on the palate. Lively carbonation. Clean, bright citrus finish.

Thanks Corey for the can.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy to pale milky orange / slightly gold color with a finger’s worth of lasting white head. Dies off at a good pace.
The aroma had sweet to bitter citrus fruits of lemon, orange, and tangerine. Light pineapple/mango. Then a touch of bitterness flows in ever so slightly.
The flavor starts sweet through the previously mentioned aromas with the bitterness coming back a little more eventful than the aroma. But now there’s a slight sour tickle just slyly moving in to touch down in the aftertaste. The finish features the tropical fruits somewhat slick with a nice mobility at the back of my tongue.
On the palate, this one sat almost medium bodied, just a tad underneath. Still, it’s a sipper of a DIPA which is good, in my opinion. The hops don’t leave much abrasiveness along my tongue, which I don’t mind, quite smooth. ABV, actually feels just a tad under than what the brewer projects.
Overall, spectacular DIPA, I have yet to be disappointed by Other Half.
