Atypically, this is a softly bittered lager. The water we use comes from our own spring which is naturally low in dissolved salts; ideal for this style. The beer was introduced to demonstrate how good a lager can be if done properly and not hurried through maturation. The malt is from Bamberg and the hops from Bavaria.

Bottle at home, picked up at Bridgend Service Station. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, mellow, white bread, toasty grain, cereal and lemon parfait. The taste is crisp, dry, lemony, gooseberry fool, grass, straw, white bread and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable. Decent lagerbier.
