Epic Brewing has been making high-strength beers in the land of low-strength (Utah). Rather than expand their operations there, they chose to open a 2nd brewery in a more encouraging state, Colorado. This is their first batch of beer brewed here in Denver. Big, fruity hop aromas.

Canned at SBWF 19. Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of peach and citrus. Mid dry. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel mouthfeel. Bready with pine and grapefruit. Mid bitter finish.

Can from Beer Republic. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, orange, slight tropical fruit. Easy drinking IPA on IPA day.

355ml can. Slightly hazy orange gold colour, creamy white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of juicy fruits, citrus, spicy hoppy. Taste is malt caramel, with fruity orange, alittle pine, and resiny spicy hop bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry mellow bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Hazy medium golden colour, much activity in the glass, good frothy white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malt, tangerine, grass, floral hops. Mild taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, light citrus, light pine. Mild fruity bittersweet aftertaste, mild orange pith, some pine resin. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, mild and smooth IPA, easy to drink, nice.

355ml can. Murky, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Piney and tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, hints of passion fruit, minimally sugary, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately sweet, minimally sugary, caramel malty and citrusy, minimally piney hoppy, notes of lemon, hints of instant lemon tea, a minimally earthy and leafy touch. Average IPA.

Little cloudy yellow blond beer, small irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, completely oxidized, grains, some honey. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: super malty, oxidized, grains, sweetish, some caramel. Aftertaste: little fruity, very bitter, hoppy, pretty oxidized, some honey, fruity notes, way too oxidized, soft citrus notes, orange peel, more oxidation.

Hazy blond with thin lacy head. Aroma and flavour have some peach and orange citrus. Not bad. Very dry finish.
