30/4/2018. Cask at Pleased To Meet You, Newcastle. Pours almost black with a creamy tan coloured head - a lovely looking beer. Aroma of moderate roasted malt, milk chocolate, light coffee, vanilla and a little dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Quite light bodied, slight creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Some roasting coming through in finish. Enjoyable porter.

Gravicask shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Cola back body. Diminishing off-white head. Fragile lacing. Chocolate malty aromas. Grainy chocolate flavours followed by rounded black fruity end. Satisfying, a bit thin though (Derby 17.02.2016).
