Cask at Counting House, Glasgow. It pours hazy dark red - brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich, malty, spicy, tangy chilli, honey, juniper, cranberry, bakewell tart and marzipan. The taste is bitter - sweet, rather spicy, peppery, chilli, warming spice, ginger, candied peel, marzipan, bakewell tart, cherry balm, honey, earth, wood and leather with a spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not what I was expecting from these guys, but not try. Quite a lot going on, but perhaps a bit too spicy and chewy. Alright.

Cask at the blue blazer. Pours clear amber, nose is malty, biscuity, varnish, taste is sweet, caramel, light fruit, odd harsh finish, slowly building burn.
