Keg at Casc. It pours clear red - brown with a decent off-white head. The aroma is toasty brown bread, wood, cocoa, earth, milky way and light spice. The taste is smooth, bready malt base, toasty grain, wood, leatget, cocoa, stone fruits, red berry, fruit cake and piney varnish. Finish is dry and toasty. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty unique hoppy Belge. Good fun.

Schooner at Crossing the Rubicon. Cloudy reddish brown with a thin off white head. Yeasty, alcohol aroma, flavour is bread, yeast, caramel, maybe a little banana. Bit thin maybe but very drinkable

On keg at the Red Squirrel. Appearance - murky brown. Decent lacy head. Nose - toffee, Shreddies and candy sugar. Taste - as per nose. Toffee apple. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - good but would like more Belgian yeast tang on the finish.
