Our evolving IPA range for 2017 kicks off with our take on the new Hazy IPA style. Retains the soft mouthfeel, hazy appearance and juicy flavour of New England Style IPAs, but combines it with an intense West Coast style IPA bitterness and long, dry finish. Hops - Citra, Comet, Mosaic, Simcoe

330mml bottle. Tasted on the 26/01/2018 at "Warwick Real Ale", England. Hazy orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma of floral hops, pine, orange and caramel. Taste is dominated by the fruity (orange and mango) and the hoppy side but has also some sweet caramel and grass. Finish is medium bitter. Next one please!

Keg at the Twisted Barrel tap room, 04/02/17. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine needle, light dank tickle, mango, peach, orange pith. Taste comprises orange pith, tropical fruit esters, toasted grains, fleshy citricina but well checked with light minerality and a pinch of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

Keg at Twisted Barrel Brewery Tap Room, Coventry Friday 27th February 2017 Pours hazy gold with a white sticky head. Nice mouthfeel, lovely, lovely beer, so juicy with a great bitterness, nice sweet counter balance. Some lemon and orange (more orangey) so juicy, a touch pithy. Great, really great. Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy dark amber pour with a thin white head, aroma has a hint of caramel and tangerine, taste has hint of tangerine, hints of pine, tangerine, light grapefruit, carbs are a bit on the low side, probably needs a bit more conditioning, taste is fine though.
