To celebrate our 1st Birthday we brewed a beer to compliment these cold, dark winter days. This smooth and full bodied milk stout has been steeped with cocoa nibs in the fermenter to give the beer an added complexity & richness. Limited number of NITRO kegs are available.

Keg at the Rake, Borough. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose of coffee, caramel, chocolate, licorice. Flavours of smoke, dark chocolate, coffee, ash, licorice. Very dry. Nice.

Keg at BrewDog Edinburgh. Black body with a thin tan head. Faint lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, ash and toasted coconut. Flavour of chocolate ice-cream and nuts. Thin to medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A solid example of the style. My favourite North Brewing beer so far.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of milk chocolate, something vaguely herbal. Taste is milk chocolate all the way. Sweet finish. Solid example.

Cask @ Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Very dark reddish-brown with a small bubbly head. Has a milky aroma, milky-sweet roasted malt taste. Strongish but inoffensive.
