500ml bottle from somewhere. Pours hazy golden with a persistent thin white head. Aromas of peach and café latte. Taste is more fruit and coffee. Creamy texture, sweet finish. Unusual.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy bronze body with a medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma of coffee, asparagus and white pepper. Flavour of creamy pale malt and more white pepper. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. I couldn’t finish this - it was yeast and peppery and not very pleasant. I usually love Fallen beers but I didn’t like this one. I prefer when coffee is used in darker beers.

Bottle from Oddbins Rosemount. It pours hazy dirty gold - amber with a thick, foamy off-white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, brown bread, earthy, coffee, tangy orange marmalade, berry, brioche and a touch of chocolates. The taste is rather bitter, chewy, wood, coffee, cacao, leather, peppery spice and some fruitiness with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. The aroma is rather n dry, but the taste is a touch drying and woody. Fun to try, but not as drinkable as it should be.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - milky coffee. Taste - loads of coffee, light citrus trying to come through at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - not sure of the concept here but decent enough.
