A 'Gingery' brown coloured ale with a smoked flavor and aroma. Well-balanced bitterness and a fruity, slightly spicy note. Name after the newest Ginger headed Assistant Brewer in more than 165 years. Smokey Jack is made using Rauchmalz for a lovely smoked aroma and flavor.

Bottle thanks to Niall. It pours clear deep brown with a medium foamy off-white head. The aroma is rich, oily, smoked malt, leather, honey roast hams and cinnamon bun. The taste is dry, bitter, leather, smoked malt, brown bread, varnish, tannin and black tea with a dry, lightly smoked finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent stuff.
