Keg at Six Degrees North Aberdeen. It pours dark brown - black with a small beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, coffee cake, coffee & cream, toasty malts and treacle. The taste is dry, mellow bitterness, coffee, earthy roast, toasted nut, bit of dried fruit, cola, wood with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent coffee character to it. Perhaps a touch thin, but it’s decent enough.

On keg at the Blue Blazer, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black with a decent thin crema head. Red vhinks around the glass. Nose - coffee hit for sure but we’ll intermingled with the chocolate. Taste - mocca central. Creamy chocolate and coffee. There’s a light chilli note too. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry creamy finish. Overall - like this.
