The nose is rich malty action, fruit cake, toasty brown sugars, sultana, raisin, plum, fig, ginger root, earth and warming spice. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, wood, resin, resin, raisin, sultana, date, warming alcohol, plum, Dandelion & Burdock, ginger and fruit cake with a smooth, warming finish. Medium-full body and fine carbonation. Very solid barley wine.
