Keg at Shilling. Pours clear red-brown with a light haze and a thin off-white head. Aromas are herbal, some liquorice. It’s not a black Ipa as we know it, Jim. Something minty going on. Odd.

Keg at 80shil. It pours darkest brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, pine, resin, toffee, earthy roast, dried berry and rocky road. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy roast, brown bread, pine, resin, cacao, coffee and earth with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite like, it maybe edges towards more of a hoppy brown. Decent anyhow.
