330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma: mostly chocolate and coffee, more vanilla coming through as it warms up. Taste: exactly what it says in the name to be honest... chocolate, coffee, toffee, vanilla, sugar, tons of lactose making it incredibly milky smooth, pretty sweet tasting but enough coffee/roasted malt bitterness to balance that out. Medium-full body, soft carbonation. Delicious.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent carbonation. One of those beers that really does what it says on the tin. Lots of dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Toffee is there but underneath all the other flavours. Trace of tangy fruits. Light dry finish leaves a coffee and vanilla linger. Nice fun porter, pretty tasty.

Bottle at home, 02/01/17. Black with a well appointed tan cap. Nose is big on coffee grinds, sweet malts, vanilla essence, toffee fudge, light spice.Taste comprises earthy notes, chocoalte, burnt toffee, black pepper, coffee cake, roast malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a roasted tang. Solid porter, plenty of depth to the flavours and ticks off the list of ingredients in the name well!

Bottle from Clapton Craft. It pours jet blacl with a tan head. The aroma is rich, sweet, unctuous, toffee, maltesers, loads of sweet coffee, vanilla, roasted maltage and chocolate doughnut. The taste is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, slick, tar, chocolate doughnut, vanilla, good hit of coffee, toffee, spicy, touch of charred wood and light alcohol with a dry finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. I did fear this was going to be too sweet given the name... but actually the balance works well. Good fun!

Draught at Southampton Arms, London.
Dark brown-copperish body, with a medium, dense, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of coffee beans, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, some caramel, some liquorice, slight vanilla, subtle dark fruits.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, medium dry, with lots of coffee, wood, cocoa, liquorice,

Very nice. Intense, but smooth to drink, with lovely coffee and cocoa notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Unique, characterful Porter how I like it.

330ml bottle via Honest Brew. Pours dark with tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate. Taste is sadly lacking in the promised toffee and vanilla, but compensates with a hefty amount of coffee, and some cocoa shades. Decent roasty coffee porter.
