Punk IPA is the beer that kick-started it. This light, golden classic has been subverted with new world hops to create an explosion of flavour. Bursts of caramel and tropical fruit with an all-out riot of grapefruit, pineapple and lychee, precede a spiky bitter finish. This is the beer that started it all - and it’s not done yet...

Golden color, foamy, with grapefruit aroma. Hoppy, citrus flavor that finishes crisp.

12oz can. A classic IPA. Doesn't have that over the top hop feel, but does have a great depth and balance. Easy drinking, filtered. Good.

26 June 2018. Sample at 't Taphuys, Tilburg. Shared with Anke.
Clear dark golden with a big, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Fresh aroma of grapefruit, mango, lime juice, pineapple, spruce, bready malt, pine & resin. It tastes medium fruity sweet, hints of mango & lime, and light to medium hoppy bitter, pine & spruce note. Dryish, piny hoppy finish, bit bready & spicy, lingering fruity hoppiness. Medium body, slick/oily texture, soft carbonation. Good brew, quaffable, as expected.

Off white frothy head stayed on a hazy dark golden body. Hops, grapefruit & pith aroma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation & a clean back. Bitter citrus, grapefruit, sweet citrus & a hoppy finish.
