Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundantly hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads!

We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

Every Beer Has A Story...

Check out our Quick Sip Clip to see Sam talking about 120 Minute IPA. In the video, Sam also shows off some of our vintage pieces of brewing equipment, including our second-generation continuous-hopping device, Sir Hops Alot. He also touches on why we dialed 120 Minute IPA back in ABV, some aging recommendations, and a little lesson on IBU measurement. Enjoy!

Caramelly, boozy and sweet. More a barley wine than an IPA

The 2017 version. A thin white head on an unfiltered deep amber body. the nose features caramel, scotch and resinous hops. Rich caramel malt, scotch and Cointreau booziness, massive and growing citrus and resin hops, sweet malt, field berries, apricots and plums all make the scene. the mouth feel is slightly slick and the body is dense and smooth. The ultimate sipper. It was a good year.

Bottled. Darker shade of amber. Smell of.....hops, but not so juicy. Bit more of a caramel malt core to this than to others but really quite good. 11 bucks a bottle good? Nope.

Wow, this is one big mofo of a beer!
aroma is lots of hops, alcohol, and some caramel, this is quite a thick viscous beer. flavour is definitely hoppy, not as much as i would expect in a DIPA, and the bitterness is not as pronounced either, i have a feeling the alcohol is cutting it down. The alcohol warming is there for sure......still this is a good beer, i enjoyed it. A true exteme beer, but still drinkable, and the 21% is not as head cracking as expected. well done! Dsnowden thanks for the bottle!
