Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundantly hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads!

We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

Every Beer Has A Story...

Check out our Quick Sip Clip to see Sam talking about 120 Minute IPA. In the video, Sam also shows off some of our vintage pieces of brewing equipment, including our second-generation continuous-hopping device, Sir Hops Alot. He also touches on why we dialed 120 Minute IPA back in ABV, some aging recommendations, and a little lesson on IBU measurement. Enjoy!

8/4/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP2. Bought in 2018 at New Beer Distributors, New York City. Pours unclear amber brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is boozy dried fruits, toffee, biscuit, wood, date. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full bodied, creamy, soft carbonation. Rich warming alcohol finish. Pretty great!

Bottle from H-E-B, Bastrop, TX. Clear golden, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of triple sec, dried orange peel, ripe apricot, marmalade, honey, wet wood, vanilla, old grapefruit. Taste has sweet concentrated peach, apricot & orange; bitter citrus peel and grapefruit over a biscuity, honeyish, white-sugary malt base. Resinous & floral hoppy finish, lingering marmalade, orange peel bitterness, vague vanilla and boozy triple sec-like alcohol. Full body, oily-syrupy texture, average carbonation. Heavy stuff, quite intense, hopped Barley Wine almost.

At last! 12oz bottle from my brother. Copper colored pour with a lasting fluffy, off-white head. Sweet malty, boozy aroma. Taste initially starts with some caramel, then hops, before being obliterated by the ABV. Malt-bomb and hop-bomb....double whammy!

This is not a hop bomb. This is a hop nuke. Amber with thick off white head. Mixed hop aroma, very full. Taste that takes over your mouth and says kiss me. Full hop finish citrus and evergreen. I had no alcohol burn.
