Keine Karbonisierung. Flacher Beginn mit starken Malznoten. Geringfügig röstig, eher muffig hopfig. Später leicht schokoladig, trocken bitter, moderate Herbe. Sehr trocken. Trockene Früchte, oxidiert. Naja... 9/7/8/8/9/8

Bottle at a tasting. Lots of coconut. Really seems like a coconut water. Dry, slightly roasty. Quite thin bodied, well attenuated. Easy drinking. The hops completely disappeared from here, but a tasty beer remained nonetheless. Great!

Draught at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels
Dark brown color, almost black, with creamy beige head. Chocolatey aroma, yeasty, cheesy, woody. Good chocolate flavor, with a touch of bitter herbs, moderate sweetness, woody, complex; bitter liquor impression too. Excellent.

375ml bottle from Cornelius, who found it down the back of a metaphorical sofa after a stock-take, so thanks to James, and to fate! Pours black, very thin off-white head, nice tight bubbles. Aromas of resin, liquorice, pine, light sherry/oxidised note though, but not unpleasant. Taste is more of the same, some tar, molasses. Quite a thin body, but a nice long bitter finish.

375ml bottle with a black cork, no.6122/8972, bought at Vinmonopolet Vika more than three years ago. Oily pour revealing a low, bubbly, off-white head. Clear rosewood coloured body. Smell of dried fruits like prunes and raisin with a touch of oak. Sweet taste of berries, dried fruit, oak and earth. Drying bittersweet ending with warming alcohol. Sherry impression. Full bodied. Slow sipper that gets a tad too sweet in the long run (shared with Finn, Tromsø 10.12.2014).
