jet black, looks like 10 year old motor oil.
thick This is easily the biggest roasted malt aroma i have ever smelled. Not much hops, just malt. some slight coffee, and lots of chocolate. Flavour is very roasty, with big notes of chocolate, and coffee. the finish is soooooooo bitter. not mcuh going on with the oak aging, i cant really find much oak in here. but the finish is so bitter, and roasty, incredible stout.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, oak, chocolate, mocha, hint of liquorice. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet, good bitter finish. Body is full. Great balance with subtle barrel notes, strong yet very drinkable.

8-5-9-5-18 Bottle, 2,5 years after bottling. Pours pitch black, with a big creamy mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, chocolate, molasses and leather, as well as liquorice and wooden barrels. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, coffee, liquorice and muscovado, as well as nutty minerals and wooden barrels. Smooth, mellow and truly enjoyable!

Bottle 355ml @ 3 små rum. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa and licorice. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, cocoa and licorice finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

2017 vintage. A deep dark stout with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light coffee notes, very nice and rich. On tap at Venti’s.
