Can. Amber, with a small, dense off-white head. Quickly collapsing head, and without carbonation. Hints of aroma of caramel. Flavor is a little bit more present, but only vaguely here too. Caramel and some notes of hops. Thin, fizzy mouthfeel and some caramel in the finish as well. I could drink gallons of this, and still not getting tired of beer. Eh, not that I get tired of beer, but you get the point I hope. (060719)

Bottled. Brownish amber, average head. Very neutral. Sweet, lightly roasty and somewhat papery with some sharp metal. Primitive and tasteless.

(Bottle 50) Beautiful amber colour, slightly hazy, almost no head. Malty with notes of caramel. Very light-bodied and a very subdued bitterness. This doesn’t even come close to a typical German Dunkel (although I suspect it’s been brewed at Harboe’s German enterprise in Dargun). Rather flat - as most beers in plastic. They really lose their carbonation way too fast. 240105

330 ml can, called "Premium Dunkel", but must be the same beer. ABV is the same. Adding "premium" to the name of most of their beers will not hide the fact that Harboe is one of the least interesting discount breweries in Northern Europe. Brown colour, very thin for a dunkel. Decent head. Moderate malty aroma. Flavour has a very moderate maltiness, very thin and slightly metallic mouthfeel. Another poor brew from Harboe.

Surpriseingly good beer from a discout-label. The amber colour and nice mostly lasting head makes you want to drink this beer, and it tastes ok. It is a bit to fizzy for my mouth.

The aroma is very sweet with notes of caramel combined with some sourness from the hops, not very pleasant. The color is dark amber and it has an OK beige head. The flavor is malty, with notes of caramel, bad hops, and a very dry finish.

Amber body and small white head. Hay and malt aroma, but with a strong metallic note. Cheap lager flavour.

Plastic bottle. Light brown colour (not very dunkel), white head. Not too nice smell, a mixture between sewer and cheap canned lager. Taste is more or less like a typical semi-dark lager (called "Classic" in Denmark). Not a good try from Harboe, we know they can do better.
