A careful blend of malts, Fuggles and Goldings hops gives this ale a well balanced flavour, with subtle tones of caramel and a delicate hoppy finish.

Bottle from Baxters Whisky Shop, Fochabers. It pours clear amber with a thick white head. The aroma is brown bread, earth, toasted grain, cereal, leather and nut. The taste is bitter, spicy, dull toffee/caramel, brown bread, grassy, floral, earth and bit of cardboard with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A fairly standard bitter.
