Bottle from Fountainhall Wines. It pours clear mahogany brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet, tangy red berry, jammy, zesty citrus, brown bread, earthy, black tea and wood. The taste is pretty bitter upfront, tangy red berries, citrus peel, victoria sponge, brown bread, toffee and resin with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Balance works pretty well actually. Decent stuff.

Cask at Milton Keynes Beer Festival; clear dark brown pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has hint of lime and some malt action, taste has a strange off taste, with some robust malts.

500ml bottle into a UK pint sleeve at home on 4th Sep 2016. Lovely looking beer, full foaming blanket on top, red bodied. Malty molasses and hedgerow fruits combine to give a pleasant aroma and taste. Liked it.
