Bottle sample at a a tasting at troubles’ place. Thanks Max. Hazy golden-orange. Fruitiness, some spices, some yeast, alcohol fumes, sweetish and a bit sourish, unpleasant bitterish finish. Not so good and not really sour.

Bottle from Great Grog. It pours cloudy amber with a thick, fluffy off-white head. The aroma is funky, musty, chai latte, lemon peel and tart green apple. The taste is dry, funky, musty, damp leaves, earthy, dry wood, sweet - sour, chai latte, cinnamon stick, clove, creaminess and some alcohol with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit weird... I’m not sure the balance of this one works out. Unique that’s for sure.

On keg at Ox184. Appearance - deep cloudy amber. Slight head. Nose - ginger biscuits with a sour undernote. Taste - apple vinegar with a clove spice. There’s a smoky tea edge to it but the sour apple note are prevalent. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - the more sours I have the more sours I like.
