Bottle at home. Pours deep amber, nose is hay, pear, stewed fruits, caramel, taste is sweet toffee, fruity, berries, raisin. Bit old and oxidized but not bad.

Bottle via trade with Ash. It pours hazy deep red - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, bitter - sweet, pine, resin, blood orange, kumquat and toffee. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, pine, resinous, toffee, stewed citrus and blood orange with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tastes a lot like a hoppy American red ale. I rather like the balance. A promising start for these guys.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Hazy amber/brown body with a thin off-white head - it’s very dark for a Pale Ale. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and burnt orange. Flavour of fig, blood orange and earthy hops. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Prickly fizz. The flavours are rich and well balanced.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb, thanks to the brewer. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of apricot and fresh orange. Taste is orange peel, more fruit. Medium body, tangy finish. Nice.

Bottle, thanks to Euan, the brewer! Appearance - golden to amber with a slight haze. Nose - big orange and apricot notes. Taste - more of the same. Very intense. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - what a lovely beer.
