500ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours black, small tan head. Aroma is roast and dark chocolate. Taste is roasted dark malts, bitter chocolate, not as much as I’d have liked, but it’s there. Lingering bitterness. Ok, but a bit disjointed.

Bottle at Appellation Wines tasting. Black body with a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of black chocolate and orange. Flavour of black chocolate, Marmite and lightly toasted bread. Sharp, dry finish. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Smooth and chocolatey.
