This new member of the family is no jabroni. Crystal Malts, German Hops and Wheat make this a made man. Think you can handle this Red Wheat Beer? You some kinda wise guy? Notes of banana and clove dominate both nose and palate in the typical Munich style. Ester aromas marry with malt sweetness to compliment a light, floral spice.

Very lively amber beer, thick frothy head. Smells of zesty, spicy banana. taste has the same qualities, with the banana making for a mellow base and the spiciness initially strong up front but that soon eases off too, leaving some apple-y, citrusy fruit and a lingering, hopping bitterness.

Keg at Six Deg North. It pours cloudy deep red - brown with a medium beige head. The nose is earthy, toasty, banana bread, toasty sugars, candy, caramel and red fruit. The taste is quite sweet, sticky, sweet banana bread, red berry, old toasted malt, clove rock, candy, caramel and fruit tea with a sweet finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. All a bit to sweet and sickly... Meh.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy ruby body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of apple, rhubarb and caramel. Flavour of strawberry, stewed tea and cranberry. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. I expected more wheat character, but this is pretty tasty.
