Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of sweetish malts and a touch of lemon fruit, with a whiff of leafy hop. Flavour had sweetish, toasty, malts, some more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. A bit subdued.

Cask @ The Paramount, Manchester. Golden with a thick frothy head. It feels a little weak in its texture, but is not too bad in the palate, with a crispness and a mild floral-sweet character.

Cask handpull at the crosse keys. Mid amber / copper coloured pour with a small loose greyish head. Aroma is nice sweet hedgerow fruit, cranberry and raisin, nutty malts, hints of toast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet rounded biscuity and nutty malts, red fruit, hint of grassy hedgerow hop. Palate is semi sweet, moderate cask condition, rounded. Little bitter bite in the finish. Solid.
