A delicious golden ale celebrating the coming of spring and the prospect of less rain. A welcome refreshing citrus tone with hints of lemon and lime.

Can picked up at Aldo, Inverurie. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is toasty grain, cereal, lemonade and sweet lime. The taste is crisp, subdued bitterness, zesty, lemonade, lime sherbet, toasty grain, grass and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly OK golden ale with a lemon - lime character.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - big lime hit. Taste - tonnes of lime. There has to be lime in this even though the pump clip doesn’t mention it. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - initially nicely refreshing but after a while it’s too much lime.
