Deep rich brown coloured body with a very thin, half centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of alcohol, coffee, earth, light malt and some toffee and caramelised sugars. Medium-bodied; Strong smoke and funky meat flavours at first with a very thin malt body and only a touch of sugars coming through. Aftertaste shows that funky meat flavour, some a little sweetness from the caramel and very little else - pretty boring and tepid. Aftertaste shows only a little sweetness, some odd meat and mushroom flavours and no malt at all, really. Overall, a pretty poor offering, especially one that has aged for a while - there was no real benefits in that at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on 30-December-2013 for US$3,29 sampled at home in Washington after finishing the USMC Marathon on 25-October-2015.

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy dark fruit and caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy dark fruit and caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel and dark fruit finish.

Bottled. A red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, alcohol, and malt, leading tona dry finish

cloudy brown, small light brown head. caramel, tooffee, malts in the aroma, bittersweeet. flavor is malty, toffee, bittersweet, chocolate. hits a flavor profile i just dont like very much, others will probably rate it much higher

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is caramelish and toffee malty. Smoked, tarish and toffee malty. Thick caramelish. Toasted malty and light breadish finish.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours a clear deep amber with a gray head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has sweet grains and caramel with a good amount of light floral hops. Flavor starts with a bit of grassy hops but finishes with sweet grain and caramel.
