A crisp, refreshing, golden lager brewed from malted barley, yeast and other things that get master brewers really excited. But as you’re probably not one of them, we’ll shut up. And fill the rest of the label with this sentence.

Strange one this, pours a nice light gold with a frothy white head, not much of an aroma, maybe a little sweetness - but the flavour is a surprise, alongside the classic sweet, biscuit malt you'd expect from a lager, there's more than a hint of smoke, which is initially disconcerting but becomes pleasant by the finish.

Bottle at Craig’s, thanks to Keith’s only homer – BenH. It pours clear gold with a medium white head. The nose is soft, sweet, lemon – lime, lemon parfait, straw, cracker and unfortunately some sweetcorn. The taste is crisp, bitter- sweet, dusty, a bit chewy, biscuit, a touch of stringency and not much else. Finish is short and a bit sweet. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A couple of off-notes about this one, but not as feared.
