Strange one this, pours a nice light gold with a frothy white head, not much of an aroma, maybe a little sweetness - but the flavour is a surprise, alongside the classic sweet, biscuit malt you'd expect from a lager, there's more than a hint of smoke, which is initially disconcerting but becomes pleasant by the finish.

330ml bottle. Clear golden with a thin white head. Floral malty aroma, flavour is quite sweet and malty with the same floral notes and some smoke too. Ok

Bottle at Craig’s, thanks to Keith’s only homer – BenH. It pours clear gold with a medium white head. The nose is soft, sweet, lemon – lime, lemon parfait, straw, cracker and unfortunately some sweetcorn. The taste is crisp, bitter- sweet, dusty, a bit chewy, biscuit, a touch of stringency and not much else. Finish is short and a bit sweet. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A couple of off-notes about this one, but not as feared.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of cooked corn and cereal. Taste is astringent. Generally unpleasant finish.
