Bottle from Aldi, Inverurie. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, cereal, bread, brioche, madeleines, pepper, ginger and grass. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, bready, sponge cake, cereal, fairly bitter, grassy, mint, earth, hint of pear-apple esters and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A pretty interesting golden ale with Belgian accents. Decent enough.

On cask @ the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a decent head. Nose - lemon, herbs and going into fruit salad. Taste - more lemon and perhaps grapefruit. A light sweet malt note at the back. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - the pick of this visit to the Haymarket.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, bread and spices. Flavour of herbal hops, orange pith and a hint of white pepper. Thin to medium body with a frothy texture. Light fizz. Lots of flavour for the ABV.
