Sorley Boy MacDonnell was the flaxen haired rogue chieftain. His base of Dunluce castle on the Causeway Coast once experienced a lavish make-over, believed to be funded by gold that Sorley had secretly salvaged from the wreck of The Girona.

Bottle. Clear golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, hop and grass. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, hop, grass, little herbal, little sweet adn a little bitter.

Bottle from the Garvie dregs run. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of grassy hops, toffee, corn. Taste is corn, astringent finish. Bit grim.
