Sample at the "Northeastern vs Northwestern Brewery Tasting" on 10/29/2016. Hazy purplish-red color with a medium pinkish-white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart cherry, yeast and malt. Tart and oaky character with notes of cherry, berries, yeast and bready malt. The finish is tart and fruity with a raspberry and cherry aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy cherries, light tartness and some funk. Flavour is very tart, with super dry tart cherries, barnyard funk, and legit acidity. Wonderfully balanced and complex. Excellent.

Poured into a snifter showing unfiltered hazy purple and red with no head. The nose shows a lot of brett with a moderately intense kriek note throughout. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Highly tart with flavors of bright cherries with a strong breath of oak in the finish. Superb.

750ml bottle from Saturday night share. Pours out a deep violet body with lighter pink head. Fruity aroma, equal parts cherries and berries. Taste starts with a bit of pucker, still carrying through on the fruit sweetness. Kind of sweet and dry finish.
