Pours a reddish amber/brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, yeast, dried fruits, hops. Flavour is light to moderate malty sweetness with a decent bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit too thin bodied.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, hints of roast and licorice in the aroma. The roast and licorice are more clearly noticeable in the flavor. Moderately sweet with mint in the aftertaste. Thinnish.

33cl bottle @ viisi penniä. Deep brown, thick off white head. Hoppy, caramelly, spicy aroma. Flavor has spices, hops, rowan. Tart. Not that enjoyable. But dubbel? No way.

Bottled from speciaalbierpakket.nl at 6.9%, Green Bullit single hop for 120 minutes, brew 10-02-2012 bottled 30-03-2012 batch 20120210a, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Almost clear ruby color, short light brown head. Aroma of brown malt, caramel, toffee, candy, strawberry, quite fruity actually, licorice (zoethout). Bit sweet in taste, but also quite dry and bitter from licorice. Licorice is quite dominant in flavor. Bit unbalanced even. Medium carbonation, medium body. Too much licorice for me.

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off-white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, malt, light resin. The flavour is medium bitter with a roasted malt, floral hop bitter palate and a rather long unpleasant bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. What hops did they use? I didn’t like the bitter palate at all.

Amber minimale wit kraag. Aroma is hoppig Smaak hoppig maar over het algemeen licht. Ik moet kappen met die kernwoorden in te tikken op de telefoon, zo kan ik geen fatsoenlijke rating reproduceren. Eindcijfer daarentegen wel duidelijk

Decent dubbel beer. Has a body of malt, with a bit more hopping than usual for this style. Nice.
