Sampled draught @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2013. Reddish amber with some off-white bubbles for a head. Nose is thick caramel, brown sugar, lightly fruity, sweet malts. Taste is mellow, caramel, brown sugar, light jam, touch tart, young beer / hop sourness, spices, fruity, sweet yeast. Oily & touch watery. Not too impressive but enjoyable still.

Bottled. A murky dark amber beer with a very thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, lemons, hops, and caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy amber with a small, rough off-white head. Tart, orangey fruity nose. Medium body, very low carbonation, a little caramel and a bitter finish. Has absolutely nothing to do with an Abbey Dubbel! 200612
