Bottle from Good Spirits Glasgow and drunk at home. Hazy dirty gold colour lasting white head. Sorachi ace aroma of coconut and pineapple. But a bit of putty too. Sorachi ace flavour in the mouth, lots of hops. However this plastic putty aroma, flavour is there which takes away some of the enjoyment. Hops are good. Not the best iteration of the SA hop beer I’ve had. It’s got a little bit of biscuit. It’s ok but not great.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 2/11/2015. Deep gold in colour, with a small, white, head. Tropical fruits, bubble gum, some biscuity malts, grassy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Murky golden/bronze body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of bubblegum, cat litter and chalky lemon. Flavour of grapefruit, minerals and toasted coconut. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Decent.

5.5 Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of coconut, lemon, bubblegum. Pretty classic sorachi. Taste is more of the same, with light pepper. Clean, dry finish.
