Our ode to the classic American Pale Ale. A subtle caramel malt character sets the stage for a cocktail of US hops. Huge citrus and tropical flavours power through alongside subtle floral and pine notes.

30/11/2018. Cask at the Dove Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, caramel, pomelo, passion fruit and grass. Light to moderate sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish with some dryness and biscuit. Enjoyed it.

Bottle picked up at Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham, consumed at home the same day, Sunday 26th July 2015 Pours mid gold with a sticky white head atop. Aroma ok but there is a tiny hint of a sourness (very minimal but just about noticeable) A little indistinct in the mouth, not a patch on the Northfield Garage IPA but it’s ok. Good bitterness a little rough around the edges. Just about fine. A4 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.0
