Cask at Olde Rose & Crown, Stafford. Pours a golden orange with a small foamy off-white head and excellent lacing. Nose has malts and tangerines. The dominant feature in the mouth is oranges. This starts off with sharp bitter marmalade at first sip, and gradually fades until by the end it is orange squash. Not the only flavour though as there is corn, bread and pepper all over a malt base. Finish is bitter with oranges. Not a terribly exciting beer, but itโ€™s OK.

27/11/2019. Cask at the Glebe, Stoke-on-Trent. Pours clear golden with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of ritz biscuits, malt, hops, fruit and grass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Got better as the cheesy biscuit aroma subsided.

On cask at Duke of York, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and subdued English hops. Flavour brings out fungal notes, bready malt and bittering hops. Smooth and fungal. Nothing interesting.
