Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5

Cloudy brown beer with a thin white head. Aroma is malt and caramel. Flavour follows suit. While it adds tart fruity hop there’s also an earthiness to it. Very light coffee in there. Balanced and tasty.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - murky brown with a fluffy head. Nose - caramel biscuits. Taste - chocolate and caramel biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied and then it finishes dry and very quickly. Overall - decent but not as brown ale on taste as on nose.

500ml bottle from Great Grog, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours murky brown, thick beige head. Aromas are nutty, toffee, some chocolate hob-nob action. Taste is more of the same, thin, dry, bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Murky brown body with a think beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of stewed tea, liquorice, caramel and red apple. Flavour of honeycomb, lime, fig and green tea. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture. Very fizzy. Hoppy and full flavoured.
