This Ale took inspiration from the English brown ale style and has a fruity character. It has a complex taste with toasted notes. The dark brown color reminiscent of mahogany. In describing the scent, one must turn to the world of wines where it resembles to the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

Nice chocolaty roast aroma. Red amber, low creamy head, small bubbles. Strong chocolate and caramel flavors - quite nice actually. Creamy texture, medium body. Best "Jacobsen" so far.

(Bottle 75 cl) Beautiful, clear chestnut coloured beer with a small, lightly creamy head. Somewhat nutty notes in the aroma. Very malted with distinct roasted notes. Medium body. Some underlying malt sweetness and a dry, lightly bitter finish. A nice beer in the bottled version, but a lot better fresh on tap where you really get to sense the refined Sauvin hops from New Zealand. 240605
