This Ale took inspiration from the English brown ale style and has a fruity character. It has a complex taste with toasted notes. The dark brown color reminiscent of mahogany. In describing the scent, one must turn to the world of wines where it resembles to the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear deep amber-brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, cardboard, nutty notes and light fruitiness. Flavor of malt, caramel, cardboard, nutty notes and a bit of alcohol notes. Medium-bodied.

On tap. Pours a brown/orange with light white head. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and biscuits. Flavours are similar - more on nuttiness. Dry, light bitter finish.

Bottled at a restaurant in CPH. Brown-orange, lacy head. Malty chocolate nose. Grass, orange. Decent malt flavor, caramel, chocolate, nice balance. Ok.

Rødbrun farge med beige skum. Lukter karamell og papp, papp kommer heldigvis ikke i smaken, men det gjør karamellen, noe kaffe. Lite kullsyre kort ettersmak.

On tap at Slagelse, Mikkel Café. I can remember, that I have also tested it in Aarhus earlier, and it was really niceful. Gently caramel and some seeds make this beers balance very demure. Medium body and soft carbonation with some fruity notes make the joy complete.

At Copenhagen airport. Thick off white head. Clear brown pour. Not as bad as I expected.

Fra fat på Restaurant Ankara i København: en uventet bra kombinasjon til deres lunsjbuffet, den kraftige maltsmaken og -sødmen passet overraskende godt til den krydrede og smaksrike maten. Skal definitivt få en reprise.
