This Ale took inspiration from the English brown ale style and has a fruity character. It has a complex taste with toasted notes. The dark brown color reminiscent of mahogany. In describing the scent, one must turn to the world of wines where it resembles to the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

Fra fat på Restaurant Ankara i København: en uventet bra kombinasjon til deres lunsjbuffet, den kraftige maltsmaken og -sødmen passet overraskende godt til den krydrede og smaksrike maten. Skal definitivt få en reprise.

Draught at Penny Lane. Smells of malt and roasted something. Brown with negligible off-white head. Malty taste with a clear note of roasted coffee. Fetish aftertaste. Decent stuff.

On tap (in one of Nyhavn’s tourist traps...): Chestnut-amber coloured, clear, quite stable mid-sized off-white creamy foam, (caramel-)malty and bready nose, some hops too; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, quite dry; slightly lingering dryish (malt-)bitter and caramelly-fruity finish. Quite good...

A pretty boring brown ale. Notes of caramel and a slight bitterness, but not much else. Brown in color with a white head.

Tap @ Cafe Sorgenfri, Copenhagen. This is a light cloudy brown beer with a nice big heavy lacing light brown head. The aroma is on the sweet side of the scale with tones of chocolatrepaper, sweet caramel, cocoa- and nuts. It has a really nice - and a bit surprising if I may say, near smooth mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. Tastes fruity with distinct chocolate and cocoa tones. It's actually really refreshing and quite good. Actually so much that I'll have another! Likable. 08.01.2011

On tap at CPH airport. Clear brown colour, thin off white head. Aroma of butter, sweet dark fruits, malts, toffee. Flavour is butter, toffee, light malty, light grainy, light hoppy finish. Light bodied. Bland.
