This Ale took inspiration from the English brown ale style and has a fruity character. It has a complex taste with toasted notes. The dark brown color reminiscent of mahogany. In describing the scent, one must turn to the world of wines where it resembles to the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

0,75 l. bottle from the supermarket. Clear reddish brown with a small bubbly tan coloured head. Dryish but a bit weak aroma of hazelnuts, chocolate. Nutty and chocolate filled flavour with a medium mouthfeel. Short, but pleasent finish. Quite a average beer, but thats what you get with Carlsberg. Glad I had this one on sale.

Bottle. Poured a clear brown with a thin tan head that dissipated quickly. Aroma had notes of malts (bread and grain) as well as some hops (pine). Flavor was quite malty with clear bread and cereal notes with out much else.

great beer with lots of taste, reminded me more of a bock than a brown ale. Quite a positive surprice, as i´m not that fond of brown ales anyway.
