Cask at EBF XX, 02/04/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderate tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is caramel, biscuit, light spice, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises dark malts, toffee, hint of liquorice, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough offering.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the 20th Egham Beer Festival. A deep reddish chestnut with a loose cream head; sweet nutty aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a sweet nutty taste; and a dry earthy finish. Needs a bit more body.
