Has spiced orange and citrus fruit aromas, leading to a medium-bodied character, plus a subtle caramel-malt finish.

13th March 2015: first day of the 2015 Wetherspoons beer festival. Third of a pint in my local outlet during a mini-session early afternoon. Not as ruby-red as they say, more copper coloured to me, good lacing on my glass, which always pleases me. Fruity and malty in both the nose and taste, some orange notes to the fore with molasses giving the brew a semi-sweet feel throughout. Only citrus notes I found were from the orange flavourings I picked up: others may find them, the tasting notes claim they are there1
